Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Do you take my insurance?

Dr. Brumley is considered an “out of network” provider. Insurance companies typically do not cover visits with out of network providers. Dr. Brumley does her very best to have you use your insurance when you can, such as with lab orders and prescriptions. You can also use your HSA and FSA to pay for any treatments and supplements at our office. If you would like to submit a bill to your insurance for your visit, we can provide the form for you.

What can I expect for my first visit?

Dr. Brumley spends 75-90 minutes with each patient for their first visit. She spends the majority of that time reviewing your entire health history, including your medical history, lifestyle, a comprehensive review of your body’s functions, any supplements and medications you are taking, and how you feel about your life in general. We will order specific lab tests for you, which will give us more direction in how to proceed with treatment. There are times when we can begin a treatment plan right away, and other times she needs to order blood work and labs before beginning a treatment plan.

What kind of doctor is Dr. Brumley? What are her credentials?

Dr. Brumley is a Naturopathic Physician, and has a Masters Degree in acupuncture. She went to medical school and had a residency just like a typical doctor; the difference is in her application of medical treatment. She is a prescribing doctor, but pharmaceuticals aren’t her first preference of treatment. Instead, she uses nutritional supplementation, IV therapy, herbal remedies, lifestyle improvements, and many other methods to encourage the body to heal on its own.

What kinds of things does she treat?

We are a family practice clinic, and can treat just about everything. Dr. Brumley treats a lot of thyroid and hormone issues, digestive problems, cancer, pediatrics, chronic viruses and infections, as well as acute conditions, such as flu viruses, ear infections, and other seasonal illnesses.

How long will I need to be treated?

Just as every person is unique, each person’s healing timeline is unique as well. Things to consider are how long you have been sick, how significant your symptoms are, and how quickly your body responds to treatment. Your journey to health is yours, and Dr. Brumley is here to support you for as long as it takes for you to feel well.

Do I have to buy supplements from Aspire, or can I get them on Amazon?

Dr. Brumley hand picks her supplements to ensure they are of the highest quality and efficacy. Many of the supplements she recommends are available only to prescribing doctors. When you shop elsewhere, we can’t guarantee that you are getting the nutritional supplementation that you truly need.

If you do not live near our office, or need any supplements shipped to a family member, we will ship your order of supplements without any additional charges.
